Yes guys, I really went for work and to learn all the in’s & out’s of consignment shops but what I want to share with you is much deeper..
I learned gratitude.
To be grateful, to find a blessing in everything.
It seems so simple yet we live in a society that makes us feel unthankful for the things we have. We’re made to feel inadequate without the newest technology or hippest trends & everyone’s life always seems so perfect through the Instagram lens. We complain about the weather, the traffic & all our normal obligations that we should really be thankful to even have.
Some of you know I was recently in the Dominican Republic and that allowed me to deepen my practice of gratitude. To live in America - the land of the free- the land of opportunity - That’s what I’m grateful for. To be able to own a business as a 24 year old female. To be able to worship any, all or no gods. To be able to speak freely. To be able to choose. To have been given an education. 3 meals a day. Clean water. A roof over my head. The BASIC necessities of life that so many others are not given. My heart is full & yours should be too ❤️
